England: Lost 0–3

How England performed

Australia won the first three Tests of 1921 to settle the series early. In Nottingham, England were bowled out for 112 and 147 and lost by ten wickets; at Lord's, London, totals of 187 and 283 could not prevent an eight-wicket defeat; and at Leeds, Australia's 407 and a declaration at 273 for seven set up a 219-run win.

England fared better in the last two matches, both drawn. In Manchester they declared at 362 for four and bowled Australia out for 175, and at The Oval, London, they declared at 403 for eight, dismissed Australia for 389 and were 244 for two in their second innings at the close. Australia took the series 3–0.
