England: Won 1–0

How England performed

A single victory was enough for England in 1893. The series began with a draw at Lord's, London, where England made 334, led Australia's 269 and declared their second innings at 234 for eight.

The Oval, London produced the series' only result. England amassed 483, bowled Australia out for 91 and, despite the visitors' improved 349 in their second innings, won by an innings and 43 runs. In Manchester, England led 243 to 204 on first innings and were 118 for four in their second when the final Test ended in a draw, securing a 1–0 series win.
