How England performed
Under head coach John Mitchell and captain Meg Jones, the Red Roses won the 2026 Women's Six Nations with a fifth successive Grand Slam, extending a run that began in 2022. They opened with a 33–12 win over Ireland at Twickenham and then beat Scotland 84–7 at Murrayfield, their biggest win of the championship.
A 62–24 victory over Wales at Ashton Gate in Bristol was followed by a 61–33 win against Italy in Parma, and England completed the clean sweep with a 43–28 victory over France at the Stade Atlantique in Bordeaux on 17 May. Five wins from five, with 283 points scored and 104 conceded, delivered the title. They passed 60 points three times, although they conceded more than in 2025, when they had allowed 71.
