How England performed
The 2021 Women's Six Nations was played over a short window in April, and the Red Roses came out of it as champions. They opened with a 52–10 win over Scotland at Castle Park in Doncaster on 3 April and followed it a week later with a 67–3 victory over Italy at the Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi in Parma.
Those two wins produced 119 points scored and only 13 conceded. England also beat France 10–6 at the Twickenham Stoop, a far tighter contest than either of their earlier matches and the lowest-scoring of their campaign. The title followed the Grand Slam the Red Roses had won in 2020, and they again finished the season unbeaten.
