How England performed
The Red Roses' 2015 Women's Six Nations began with a 13–0 defeat by Wales at St Helen's in Swansea, an opening-round setback that left them chasing from the start. Their second away trip brought another defeat, Ireland edging a low-scoring match 11–8 at Ashbourne RFC in Meath.
Across the championship England won two matches and lost three, scoring 104 points and conceding 65, and finished fourth. The positive points difference showed they remained capable of beating opponents comfortably, but the two away defeats, in which they managed only eight points between them, proved costly. It was a marked decline from 2014, when the Red Roses had finished second and claimed the Triple Crown, and the losses to Wales and Ireland meant there was no Triple Crown this time.
