How England performed
The Red Roses retained the Women's Six Nations title in 2007 with a second successive Grand Slam, winning all five matches and conceding only 12 points. They opened with a 60–0 win over Scotland and then beat Italy 23–0 at Twickenham.
A 32–0 victory over Ireland at Thomond Park in Limerick followed, and the key result came against France, who were beaten 38–12 and were the only side to score against England in the championship. The campaign ended with a 30–0 win over Wales at Taff's Well. Five wins from five, with 183 points scored and 12 conceded, matched the clean sweep of 2006 an average of fewer than three points conceded per match.
