England reached the semi-finals of the 2026 T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka, matching their finish of 2024, with Harry Brook as captain and Brendon McCullum as head coach. Group C opened at the Wankhede Stadium with a narrow 4-run win over Nepal, England defending 184/7, before West Indies made 196/6 at the same ground and bowled England out for 166 to win by 30 runs. Wins over Scotland by 5 wickets and Italy by 24 runs at Eden Gardens secured a place in the Super 8.
