Match guide

England host New Zealand in the Nations Championship at Allianz Stadium in London on Saturday 21 November, with kick-off at 14:10 UK time. It completes a run of three home fixtures in the competition this month, following the visits of Australia and Japan.

New Zealand have long held the upper hand: our records show England with nine wins, two draws and 36 defeats in a fixture first played in February 1889. Recent meetings have been far closer. England won 33–19 at home in November 2025, having lost 24–22 at home a year earlier and 16–15 and 24–17 in New Zealand in July 2024, while the 2022 meeting finished 25–25. Before November, England's 2026 results were mixed, with defeats to France (48–46 and 35–19) and South Africa (45–21) followed by Nations Championship wins over Fiji, 73–8, and Argentina, 31–24, in July.
