England and South Africa meet in the second Test of their series at SuperSport Park in Centurion, scheduled from 26 to 30 December, with first ball on day one at 08:00 UK time. It comes after the first Test in Johannesburg (17–21 December) and before the third Test in Cape Town in January.

Before this tour, the five most recent meetings were white-ball matches in England in September 2025. South Africa edged the ODIs 2–1, including a five-run win when England fell short chasing 331, while England's 342-run victory in the final ODI, built on 414/5 before dismissing South Africa for 72, was the most emphatic result.
