The opening match in Ahmedabad set the tone, as New Zealand chased England's 282/9 for the loss of one wicket to win by 9 wickets. A 137-run win over Bangladesh in Dharamshala followed, but England then lost five matches in a row.
Afghanistan won by 69 runs in Delhi, and South Africa made 399/7 in Mumbai before dismissing England for 170 in 22 overs to win by 229 runs.
