England’s last international game was against Montenegro in the qualifying stages for the 2012 European Championship and the squad below is based on that.

The next game England faces will be a qualifier for the 2012 European Championships against Wales.


Now that David James is out of contention for a call up the average age of squad reduces greatly with Robert Green being the oldest player at 30 years of age. Carson comes in as a late replacement for Ben Foster who has been removed due to an illness.
