Twenty20 - West Indies stun England in second t20 match

A lacklustre England were beaten by 25 runs by the West Indies in the second and final twenty20 match between the two sides at The Kia Oval. After thrashing the visitors in the first match England were widely expected to once again come out on top, and it looked to be going that way after they bowled West Indies out for just 113. However, a shocking batting display saw England wimper out for just 88 runs.

Stuart Broad Appointed As New Skipper

Stuart Broad has been named as the new T20 captain of England. Paceman bowler Broad replaces the ageing all-rounder Paul Collingwood and his immediate focus will be summer matches against Sri Lanka and India. Broad was originally an outsider to become captain due to issues surrounding his temperament but England Head Coach Andy Flower believes it was a risk worth taking.
